Mike Hill: Born and raised in Omaha, Ne and Burke High grad. 1967. B of S in Criminal Justice from UN-O, 1972. Lived in LA from' 73-'87, Worked at Paramount Studios as an apprentice editor '73-75. Became an asst. editor, working at Paramount on various TV shows and movies.

First editing credit was on "Cagney and Lacey" pilot in 1980. Was co-editor on Ron Howard's "Night Shift" in 1982. Has worked on all Ron Howard's movies since then. See imdb for filmography.

4 time Oscar nominee for editing on "Apollo 13", "A Beautiful Mind, "Cinderella Man", and "Frost Nixon". Won for "Apollo 13", 1995.
